About Lisa Smith:
Lisa Smith has been an administrator, public speaker and business consultant for over 25 years. She has also owned and operated 4 small businesses with her husband, Rick, over the last 18 years. In today’s world, Lisa teaches businesses of all sizes the importance of conducting a professional human resources department, not taking for granted the importance of continuing education and constant monitoring of policy and procedure. As a trainer and consultant, Lisa travels around the country working with her clients, in over 40 states, teaching them to internally audit all processes for IRS, DOL, OSHA, and ICE compliance. Lisa also works as a third-party inspector for major insurance companies performing credentialing inspections with medical facilities. Over the past 3 years, she has developed a system which allows companies to Audit-Secure their processes in order to be ready in case of an audit or inspection. Lisa’s initial system of 20 Factor-based checklists and hot-tips has grown into her newly released line of software-based resource products, HelpDesk for Business Professionals. Lisa’s HelpDesk line covers payroll, HR, accounts receivable, and OSHA compliance. Lisa is also a free-lance content developer and instructional designer. She has developed curriculum guides and training guides for various learning management organizations across the country. She is a frequently used subject matter expert in the field of payroll, human resources, OSHA compliance, and medical related topics. In June of 2014, Lisa formed a non-profit organization – Andere Foundation, Inc. which focuses on empowering survivors of abuse through workforce training and professional development efforts.
